Choosing your Wedding Photographer

You would have dreamt of your wedding all your life. And when it gets over you will turn back and cherish those memories for a lifetime. What better than having photographs as reminiscent for those wonderful moments. This is possible only if you have a good professional photographer who will not capture the moment and your image on his camera, but who will capture the your mood and happiness.

How to do choose a good photographer for your wedding? Don’t worry… follow these simple tips –

  • Start searching for a photographer, well in advance from your wedding date.
  • Look at the photographer’s style in his samples of wedding photography. See if he is able to capture the couple’s moods and their happiness.
  • Find out his experience as a wedding photographer. The more experienced, the better photographer.
  • If you have approached a studio to provide you a photographer, make sure you meet the photographer and build a good rapport with him. So that both of you are comfortable with each other.
  • Once you have finalized your photographer and your wedding date, book the photographer even if your wedding date is comes next year.
  • Sit down with your photographer before the wedding and discuss with him the type of photographs you want and the type he can take.
  • If you have any special instructions for the close ups or special focus on some event, do specify.
  • If you wish to have some fresh studio photos taken, you can arrange for them hours before your wedding ceremony or a day or two after your wedding.
  • Do settle with your photographer, the time of delivering your photographs. Ask him to stick by his word if he had promised.
