A bachelorette party has the same dos and don’ts like a bachelor party. On of the most important thing of any kind of party is its invitations, be it a wedding or a simple dinner party.
When it comes to bachelorette party invitations, one must keep certain things on mind and plan out accordingly. The best ways to go for invitations are:
- Call for a meeting of all the organizers, a month or two before the wedding. You can also include all the bridesmaid in throwing a grand party to the bride.
- Divide the work, as it becomes easier to plan out and execute things. Give one person the charge of getting all the invitations.
- Make a guests list, and decide who all can be invited. Usually in a bridal shower, bride’s relatives, family and future in-laws are invited. But for a bachelorette party, it’s only some close friend’s who are invited.
- Whatever invitation you are planning, make sure it should go well with the party theme and the mood. Now it can be anything from an invitation with cartoons or racy photos. Sometimes you can also plan out invitations according to the bride’s personality.
- Try to go for an invitation that suits well with the feel of the party and also the budget that you have decided. Make sure it does not shoot up and goes out of the pocket.
- Buy extra invitations, in case some are spoiled or misplaced. Usually invitations come in a pack of eight. So buy enough to meet any kind of emergencies.
Send out the invitations 3 to 4 weeks prior to the party, so that the guests can make their plans accordingly. Ask bride about the guest’s list, she may want to include people whom you don’t know.
Don’t take time to choose and order invitations, as there should be enough time for the delivery.
